I have lived all over the United States and am now living in Brentwood, TN. I am married and have three boys. My husband is from Switzerland and we have had the pleasure of living there for four and a half years. I have always loved drawing and painting. I attended the University of Georgia, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in photography. I have worked for Ad Agencies in Switzerland and here in the states as an Art Director. Once our oldest son was born, I realized I would really rather paint and teach, and have been doing so ever since. I have recently joined The Chestnut Group, a group of “plein air” artists painting and working to conserve the open land areas in middle Tennessee. I am thrilled to be working with such wonderful and talented artists.

I paint the things that inspire me. Whether I paint in my backyard, on an old country road in Tennessee, or in an Italian or Swiss village, I hope to capture that “everyday” moment we are often too busy to notice. I love the early morning light bouncing through the trees and the afternoon reflections of colorful houses and leaves in the water.
